Description: The Collaborative Conservation Network (CCN for short) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Southern California ecosystem through the joint efforts of many kind human beings. They feel that people should actually get down and touch the earth they\'re trying to preserve, which is sort of the reason for the \"collaborative\" in their name. Anyway, this logo describes the human interaction with the environment through a series of tightly-integrated symbols.

Very smooth and expressive symbol. Maybe the typeface was not the best choice in the ideea of resizing the logo to a smaller size. Maybe it won\'t be that readable. Anyway, it\'s a good work.

Wow! I just noticed the bird and fish. What a great concept. I think some more type exploration really would have pulled this together. If anything, I think the logo mark could have been reduced in size. Even so, still a great logo. Kevin

I appreciate all of the great feedback. The resounding opinion seems to be that the typeface is too generic-looking. In a way, this was the intent. However, I do agree, in retrospect, that it could\'ve been spiced up a bit.

Try using Optima for the type. Or something more humanistic, but still a sans-serif. Also you could perhaps define the shapes in the symbol a little better so they show better in small sizes.

Brilliant logo, the icon works really well, very imaginative, took me a while to realise the fish and bird, but works even if you dont see it. Keep up the good work!

Wow. I too missed the Fish and the Bird, but to be able to make somehthing like that is brilliant. Great logo. Btw, im not much of a Font Critique so no say on the fonts and stuff, but i like it all :D

Honestly at the first view i don\'t see the bird and the fish, but i equally have appreciated your work. But when i have seen also the two shapes i have just said: WOW! Great concept, very expressive and representative.

I would say that the type is fine, because it puts more emphasis on the illustration/icon/mark... or whatever you want tocall it. If you did more with the type they would be battling for attetnion and it would drown out the symbol.

This is what it's all about. Clever,attractive and conveys the message well. I'm seeing clever logos,attractive logos, but not many that have the full package but this one does. Just brilliant by far your best logo. Kudos to you on this one Ryan.
