Description: This is for a website me and a partner are developing which lets you quickly find the nicest public bathrooms nearest to your current location (good for those times when you\\\\\\\'re walking in the city and can\\\\\\\'t get back to your apartment in time).

The logo is based on the standard Power On symbol, only upside down and using a tilde (~) to mildly suggest poop. The dripping h also helps this suggestion.

As seen on: http://flushd.com

Status: Nothing set

Commenting: Not seeking critique, comments fine

it seems quite web 2.0

yeah, I find this a little disgusting

I have to give 5 stars for this one... even if I am not a web 2.0 fan and other deco going on here... the symbol can be read in many ways... it definitly suggest what it is suppose to suggest.

yes, I also like the symbol. the only think I would critizise is the 2nd line at the bottom which uses another serif-based font.

I LOVE the clever, understated humor in the logo. I don\'t like the web2.0 style or the serif font which loses clarity when set that small on screen. Definately replace the serif font with one sans o\' serif and try reworking the mark to better relate to the subject matter -- less obvious web2.0, but retaining a bathroom tile, porcelain aesthetic. With the stylized \"power\" button and the pooping letter \"h\" I have to give the logo 5 stars, make some changes and I\'ll give it 10.

Thanks. The line on the bottom is actually one of many catchphrases we\'re using. It\'s not actually meant to be attached to the primary logo, which is the name and symbol. Also, the primary reason that it\'s shiny and happy is that we\'re not out to make a poop-ridden blob of a logo. It\'s a quirky underground website to find really pleasant public bathrooms to use while out and about. A fun, clever, bright look works well with it.

Love everything about it except the small font. Hope I can access the site via a blackberry, treo, or mobile phone!

It will work fine in any mobile browser. We\'re trying to incorporate a text-messaged enabled service.

great... I think it is a very original idea- I wish you lots of success...and nice logo - personaly regards to the logo: The additional dot under the h is cool but you also have the bigger icon above the text. maybe one should get dropped out. Dont ask me which.- just at first glance it seems like alot going on there.

OcularInk said on Oct. 15 '06

I love this concept. However, I agree with hyperlogo. I don\'t think you need the dot under the H. Also, that serif font for the tagline could be bolder. Right now it\'s somewhat hard to read. -Kevin

I like the revisions. Looking good!!

I didn't understand why 'h' incorporated an exclamation mark. What font is this?

kult house said on Mar. 10 '07

It's not an exclamation mark. The "h" is dripping.

Craven91 said on May. 29 '07

I think you could add an air of mystery by taking out the mark and just using the type as the logo. The tagline is so ambigious you could have people wondering what the hell you are talking about and maybe pique their curiousity. And poop in a logo - just silly.
