I think the premise of the logo is good. A rough look, that has a bit of edge to it. So the idea behind it, good five points. (Unless, it\'s a pop band... but I doubt it! LOL) With that said though, I think you need to put a bit more thought into this logo. There are a few font varations out there, where I could create something similar pretty quickly. I know how difficult it is to make a logo, so I am not trying to slam you. Just trying to offer some advice. Keep the font, but maybe add a personal touch to the logo by adding a grundge bar underneath or something along those lines.
