I like the detailing, the logo is very clean and the color makes it look very healthy. I\'m not a fan of the presentation (I\'d prefer if it was displayed on a plain white background) but the mark is very cool.

it seems there\'s a trend to tack leaves onto anything that has to do with organic. why are leaves unique to this particular organization? will it stand out when you place it next to all the other organic company logs with leaves on them? i\'m not buying it, they\'re not even put on there elegantly. back to the drawing board.

Jo, I would agree with you that the leaf metaphor is beginning to become slightly \"played out\" in terms of describing anything \"green\" or organic. Admittidly, I didn\'t spend alot of time on this logo, so I went for the obvious. I do have a question for you, what visual metaphors might you use in concepting a brand or logo for a \"green\" company.

While I agree that the leaf idea is overused (both within organic/\"green\" products and branding as a whole), but I really enjoy your unique treatment of the leaves. I think you have a font here that lends itself to integrating with lots of vertical \"green\" objects (bamboo, trees, etc.), however, so you could stay within the broad category of leafy growing things and still depart from the lone leaf.

i agree with jo. it\'s not a just matter of picking \"visual metaphor\", it\'s a matter of having your product stand out from all of the others, and if all the other organic products have leaves on their logos then what makes yours unique?

Agreed, logomockery... the trick is finding the balance between designing something that is unique and at the same time familiar. You want to keep some sort of familiarity with common themes, so that people can get some sort of sense of what your company or brand does or represents.
