What exactly don't you like about the kerning? I often struggle with kerning so comments are always helpful.

i try to stay away from stretching type too much (in the word consulting i refer to). it just seems to be an element thats not needed here. but thats just opinons, there is not right or wrong in the matter. the argument could be made that it makes it a little tougher to read.

Have you tried a bolder typeface. I think if you had a type that matched the heavy weight of the mark, this logo would be more effective. Even so, I still like what you've done.
