Lincoln Children's Zoo

Description: The client on this project was a children\'s zoo. They really wanted to emphasize the fact that the zoo is very interactive. There are many animals that can be touched by the children. I developed this logo around 3 abstract forms to represent birds, fish/reptiles and mammals. The color choices are representations of their habitats (land, sea, air). This version of the logo (for 4 color applications) also shows textures of their coverings (fur, feather and scale).

Status: Nothing set

I like it alot! The execution is first class.. very detailed, very clean. Not sure how it will work on more limited mediums (such as silkscreening, embroidery or fax), but I guess you can easily reduce it to a three color logo for those needs. Also missing is the typography. Where can we see it?

Well I like the logo alot, until I found out it was for a zoo, after reading your explanation it made a bit more sense, at the same time I don\'t see it representing a zoo very well, but it sure does look nice...
