This is pretty, but looks like a textbook example of Celtic Knotwork. In fact if you do a search on google images for "celtic knotwork" there are a lot of knots that strongly resemble this one.

Consequently, there's a strong internationally-recognized Celtic association with this kind of design—as well as a very particular musical style! So given that context, I'm not sure it conveys what you want to say about variety of music and minds coming together. You might want to explore other metaphors...!
