The more I see this, the more I like it, but one thing that's bugging me more now is the kerning of the a-l pair. Make that pair a little tighter, make the l a tad taller and decrease the slant of the top of the t a little, and I think you may have it.

Lalohead, the idea is GREAT! Perhaps it would work better with a more rounded [and more contemporary] font...

I love the concept behind this and love the cyan! The one thing that bothers me is that the talk bubble is so thick and almost draws too much attention to itself. I know you're keeping the weight in line with the type but it feels somewhat heavy for the bubble.

i like the font you used, and the mark is awesome, but the slants in the a and t throw it off a bit for me

Exactly. This is [one of the reasons] why I suggested another font which would permit to have a more well-proportioned < k > symbol.

I think both the above linked logos are significantly different in execution. Each of these logos stand on their own...even if the concepts are similar. Just my two cents.

thank you all for your comments, means a lot to me.

I am in agreement with Ocularink, those logos are different in execution, and the speach bubbles in this days are a overused trend, thats one of the reasons i used a typograhy not so contemporary or modern and arial black is a modern and contemporary font, in my humble opinion :3 so the execution was unique and have a classic touch. :D

Come on, KGB... Do you intend to suggest any similarity?!...

KGB said:

similarity? Yes. Plagerism? No. Thought bubble combination of k and r. That IS similarity. I'm not saying anything bad. The Kishrown logo probably combines everything a little better. This logo, to me, reads as "talk" not "talker".

Jan. 10 '08

lalohead said:

yeah, well the intention was that the "r" was sutil, and it's right to read "talk" or "talker".

i think that the ideas are everywere, thats why this two logos are so similars, but really different in execution, well i don't know really... but i'm sure of one thing i am not a copycat!! jejeje =P
