In regards to Kevin's comment about the type somehow being 'off', I think what may help would be to make the baseline of the V run along the same baseline as the rest of the letters. So, get rid of that angled bit and align it to a uniform baseline. Just my 2 cents :)

Agree with bpotstra about being on the same baseline.
The V's base, should perhaps also move back a bit, so that the right arm of the v can swoop up to the 'i' a bit more gracefully.
