The mark is a great idea. The type has room for improvement.

The world needs some kind of stroke or halo it seems too flat. The typography is too boring. Great idea though.

it's nice, but the leaf looks extrange, more like an apple's leaf.

Great idea, just think the execution of the chili could be better and what I mean by that is it looks like the chile is just sitting there and not part of the world. Ditch the glossy effects and outer darker edge and make it become more part of the design and not like it was just stuck there.I also feel the type needs more character but a great idea.%0D*%0D*

Thank you guys. These are reallly helpful comments. Hopefully they will change their minds if a should fix up the font and the chilli like what logomotive said. However they wanted some emphasis over the double S so that people do not enter the wrong URL or something. I am sure that isn't necessary anyway. I'll remember it if it's good.

why do posters on here put background effects behind the logos? I think them being on white is more practical. Not bashing this logo at all, just seems like fluff to make the logos look better.

%22Similar concept to this logo.%22:http://worldspice.net/**I didn't create that one, but another designer within the agency I used to work for did, roughly 10 years ago. The mark anyway%3B the rest of the site was designed and built by the company themselves. (Never would have guessed it, eh?)**Your version is for an entirely different industry, and the styling is much more up-to-date in my opinion, so I don't think there are really any issues. I'm just posting this as an FYI...
