not that a mark has too, but how does this convey the company's job? I think logo marks are in one of two categories either its non representative of the company's business model and can should be very simple/simplistic, or they are representative of the company's business and should be clear.

this mark looks like its stuck on the middle, looks like you did the 'h' and then tried to tie a building into it, but i don't think it works, not from a technical standpoint, but what does the side of a semi-transparent building with an upper inset mean in terms of what the company does. i half expect a digital billboard on the side of the building, or some lights shining from inside the building if its a laser light type of thing.

Climax I think that you are totally wrong. The font shows its high end. and the building does represent light from how glossy it is. this is a complex but very clean logo. good job.

I agree with Climax and Nido. This is too heavy for the typface chosen and alignment presented here.

at what point does the complexity override the purpose or expression of the logo, So you are saying that a serif font signifies high-end, or is t the kerning on the haver? I'm lost on that connection I'm afraid. But thanks for the opinions we need more ccommentary back and forth like this o the end result is a complete story that the designer can then use as arguments to defend their logo to an iffy client.

I like the icon but I see a disconnect between the icon and type type. You should experiment with different typefaces for "Haver project." And adjusting the placement of the icon will help get rid of the "heavyness." Very unique though.

It's not a building. It is a 3D 'H' because those advertisements and displays are always in 3D. The transparency is there to show the light/shadow play of the acrylic used.
