for what you said, the logo is made for funny and hobby. my friend don't need a real logo but only a nice way to write his name on (maibe) business cards.
the pastel blue is his favoured colour and a nice choise for his logo.
i know, the "nice way" is not a justification, anyway i think i have realized a nice work in short time.

As mentioned, the kerning needs work. I like the serif font, but I'm not sure about the sans-serif one. It's a nice font, but doesn't seem to match very well.
