Description: The logo and the name “sushitando” have been created to represent the identity of a sushi bar and they draw attention to a typically sensorial faculty that originates tasting exotic food like sushi. For these reasons I choosed to mix the word sushi and the italian verb suscitare (that means “create feelings or sensations or emotions). All the parts of this project make reference to the sushi’s birthplace that is Japan: • Logotype is designed to assume the form of oriental script but it keeps the latin alphabetic characters. •During the making of the logo I used the clichéd picture of a geisha that in the collective imagination is one of the symbol of japanese culture.
