I think its too stereotypical, the use of shamrocks to show something Irish is so over done, our own Irish Tourist Board (www.tourismireland.com) couldn't find a design agency with enough originality to create something clever! Oh well, as an american football team logo, I suppose it works but I find it boring. Suppose I should stop complaining and try to design my own irish tourism logo! ;)

The majority of people who look at your logo will love it because it tics all the boxes and is very well crafted, I'm just raising an issue about an over used image, it would be great to see something fresh that also says Irish. As I said before, a personal project perhaps?! ;)
