This logo, which I've subtitled 'Cricket is Apple' represents my thoughts on what graphic design is, the combination of the synthetic & the organic to create a whole reality.

Nope, excluding the shadow it was just done with photography. The combination, shadow & some minor retouching was done in Photoshop later.

Yeah, I guess visually it is rather esoteric, it was originally part of a photography series I did in early '04 called 'Delicious Metamorphosis' in which various balls were merged with fruit i.e. tennis & lemon, basketball & orange, volleyball & peach, etc.

After that was over I adopted the Cricket is Apple as a branding, but I'm retiring it, my new one is on the verge of being complete (very different to my description above).

Yeah I was... (Sorry mate, I tend to take it for granted that most of the main members of the site are all from USA, I should look at the map more). Well it certainly is big in the UK :)
