I like this. The tiger has a weary, tired look. He looks washed out, like he's fading into extinction.

That was me. Any chance of seeing this with type?

Well Cheers :),yeah I guess I can post it, the type version is nothing groundbreaking, just runs underneath the feet as if 'tassie' was walking over it...

I'll see if I can find it, I'll put it up within the next couple of days.

That's not a tiger is it? It's a Dingo, right? It ate you baby?

This is cool.

You've done a great job capturing the right emotion for this particular project. It immediately makes me sympathize with the animal and want to support the cause. Also, it's cool to see your process on creating this one. If anything, I'd say the type could bump in size just a tad in my opinion.

Wow, suprise gallery spot... :)

@Ahab; It's a Thylacine, more commonly known as the Tasmanian Tiger (due to the dark stripes on its hindquarters), which is a member of the canine family. The last recorded Tas Tiger 'Benjamin' died in captivity in 1936.

@OcularInk; Yeah, the type could be a little small, might scale it up a bit.

Cheers guys :)

Hey, Hayes! Just another great logo from you! I like the illustration (great mood!), typografy is nice, simple and clean, I just wondering how would the logo look if you used other colour (something more australian, more warm maybe)? But wonderful anyway.

Hayes Image said:

Thanks Guys :)

Cheers Ramsak! I kept the colour cool because I wanted to form a 'depression' with the organisation, almost a like 'guilt trip' on animal cruelty.

Edit: actually 'guilt trip' is probably the wrong turn of phrase...I used a cool green tone for the imagery because I wanted to create a sense of empathy.

Personally I'd go with a more well known country from Australia (I live here too, woo) such as a koala, kangaroo or platypus but otherwise it's well done.

Thanks Byrd :)

I understand where you're coming from, but that's sorta the reason why I chose 'Tassie'...just imagine, what if in 60 years young kids don't know what a Kangaroo is?

So the logo's message is kinda like 'Hey, remember when these existed?'...

I personally feel that Kangaroo & Koala logos are becoming cliché...I'm actually working on a Platypus based design right now, should be up in a week or two!

Where abouts in Oz are you living?
