This is interesting. You created a very neat visual effect. The icon, when I'm looking at it, switches back and forth from the 'l' and the 'r'. I also like how you chose not to use a standard line for the separation.

Do you think the mark "lr" defines the letters "LR" to its right?

Nice but the eye tends to compensate for missing parts of characters. I saw an h initially.
