I think it's a really interesting concept playing with the sort of 3D movie effect, not sure if it really works for a pub though, unless they're expecting everyone that goes there to get drunk as hell :P As for the card symbol in the background, I'd arrange them to have more even space around all of them (not having the club touching the heart) and it looks like you've scaled the spade and diamond horizontally?
