i agree it has bad association. BUt we live in a time when every single rapper "sings" about being a pimp and when 12 year old kids think they are soooo cooool. Yes, the name can be viewed as an unfortunate choice, but after all client was 19 years old at a time, and he thought it was cool.

Hey Bart, I have a 6 month old a 2 year old and a 6 year old, so the words and meaning did not go over my head or under my heart, i just felt like the design of the piece at the end of the day was more important.

if you would have changed "playground" to some other word with a P, you would have gotten comments on the design only as you wanted. for public forums like this, you have to take such things into consideration. as you said yourself, it is an older logo, you don't even like the name, what difference would it have made to you in the long run?
