Very, very nice. I agree with David's comments. Having the A not jump out immediately actually works for me. I can see this logo being very flexible in various applications as well.

Very cool idea. Is it final? The reason I ask is because I have a minor improvement suggestion. I really like the idea, but as others have said, I read the M instantly but it takes a few seconds to get the A. While this isn't entirely bad, it's a little reverse of the name (Art comes first) and it's a little confusing. I think if you were to rotate the MA graphic, like this, you could get simultaneous regognition on the letters, a forward arrow, and the height/width proportions are much closer to those of the sans-serif type you've chosen. The logo still works as you have it, but I thought I'd share my suggestion that as I couldn't help but see it as an attractive option.

Hey ryantoyota, First of all I really appreciate your detailed comment even including your improvment suggestion. Thanks. But you know, I've seen my logo now for quite a while and so every modification seems more confusing to me than my present design. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Anyway thanks for any comment and suggestions :)

I like this logo very much, well done. Is there a reason to the mark having serifs and not the type next to it?

Danke, dache. Well, first of all the serif type is supposed to express diversity by the contrariness of serif and sans serif respectively classic and modern. Second, the design is supposed to appeal to a wide range of people, modern as well as more classic/conservative. Furthermore I wanted the logo to work a little against all the stylish, web2.0, shiny, heavily overused styles, typefaces and designs. And beyond I think the chosen style makes it more memorable. Hope I could clarify things.

Yeah, I too would love to hear your reasons why, photosnaper. The way I see it, this logo is underrated. Not to mention, the designer is only 19!! Can we say natural born talent!?!?

Thank you Ocular, for your support and the big compliment, many, many thanks! But I have to admit something, it was my birthday a week ago and I'm 20 now! And I can only say I think I still have A LOT to learn about design...but it's much easier to go that way with all your support and input at this wonderful place.

This is very smART. I see the 'A' immediately. I had a similar approach with one of my logos (HomeWork). It was a play on a 'H' and a 'W'.
