Pencil's 3D and the %22Y's%22 2D make it difficult to visualize a pencil. Naturally, that thought slipped my mind, but the first thought was some kind of shape floating above the letter.%0D*%0D*The idea of connecting the pencil and the letter %22y%22 is really clever, but I have to agree with other commentators - execution could use some work. Floated.

Maybe pencil is a bit overused these days, but when used properly like here with good type, then it still might be cool.

ReplyI like the idea of the Y formed by the trace of the pencils tip, i think it needs a bit more refinement though.
