Description: I was asked to create a logo that you wouldn't necessarily associate with the theatre. I was pretty much free to do as I wanted, as long as it was strong, impressive, and stood out.

well first off u failed. this is not a logo, its one of the most vile images of crap i've ever seen. but you did accomplish one thing. it really does stand out, in the gay community

Those are pretty strong words don't ya think Jungle Midget? If nice typo was applied and the logo was simplified to a clean vector it would be nice :)

I feel the breakout effect just over complicates the logo. Also, since it is so complicated, I don't think it would work if you shrunk it down, or in black & white.

The logo doesn't include the explosion effect or the swirly bits around the outside, this is just the star logo in the centre. The background graphics are only included here as this is how it was displayed on the website at the time.
