It is an interesting concept, but poorly executed...there way too much going on, try simplifying the design and shape the pieces to flow in the shape of the B, other than pieces placed hapzardly.

i dunno... i kinda like it... its what it would look like if you were to really do that with cutlery... plus i dont think the shapes of the individual pieces lend themselves to smooth edges... would look too contrived!

I wouldn't necessarily say it's poorly executed. I get what they're renting and I know that it's a "B". I definitely think that the spacing in between the items could be refined more, but overall it's alright. It actually somewhat reminds me of the Unilever logo www.unilever.com, which happens to be one of my personal favorite logos of all-time.

Looking at this...seems this is a recent trend everyone is wanting now. http://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/archives/the_united_states_of_animalia.php http://www.unilever.com/

hhmmmm... gives me an idea...

Great concept and execution - but perhaps a bit too many elements. Might create problems in some identity applications. Maybe the solution is simply creating the 'B' image with fewer illustrative elements.

Im loving this .... but think the elements add to it ... adds to the horeca feel the urgency and disorganised but methodical approach ( in regards to deadlines and rush orders and changeablilty) ... Nice one

I like this a lot. I agree with Jeff though, the forks will be the first to fill in. This would make an awsome poster.

The only problem I really have is legibility. Looks great at the size above, but what happens when you shrink it down to a tangible size (business cards, letterhead/stationary, etc.). I just don't think it resonates the same at tangible sizes.

I too agree with Jeff. The concept is great though. Another thing that is bothering me is the gradient. I feel this would be so much stronger and more balanced without it. Even so, nice job!

I like it the concept, I just think the seperation of color boxes makes it look like a poster, and not a logo.

Love the concept, maybe make a few of the elements that make the "B" larger, so that you wouldn't need so many of them.
