Description: This is a logo for “Let Them Box,” a women’s boxing organization trying to lobby for Olympic boxing. I was hired out by Birdsong Creative. We are still in the black and white stage.

hey, kev i really like the illustration but it doesnt really say 'women' enough for me... it could just as easily be a guy (or a transvestite... if the point about the lips was bought in... damn that wasnt meant to sound like that...) ... the thing that really caught my eye however was the word 'THEM' which i suppose compensates in a way... makes you ask 'WHO?'... which leads to the answer... but another thing i wanted to ask & i remember a while back there being a discussion on this subject on 'club 69' logo... how someone said they wouldnt do it because of what it stood for... do you mind me askin kevin if this was just work to you or do you actually have a view on the matter? im only askin to see how much belief we place in what we do... or is it just a 'job'... which is cool, no harm... or maybe you dont care either way & 'let them box' :)

Pony tail, lips, eyes, boobs...not woman enough? LOL!! I really think color will pull it together. In regards to the subject matter. Sometimes it's just work and sometimes it means more than that. I guess it all depends on the job. The reason I wouldn't have taken the '69' job was mainly because of the name. It just seemed a little offensive to me. Nothing against Gays and Lesbians. I hope that answers your question. I guess as a new designer, I have to take whatever I can get. I can't wait for the day when I get to choose. :) See ya, NIDO!!

if women want to box other women... i say, let them box. this is going to sound bad, but i feel like the boobs should be a little more defined. I think that would help answer the question.

Hi muku! How you doing?! Bigger boobs, huh? These girls are tough, so we wanted everything to be somewhat subtle. The 'woman' aspect shouldn't jump right out at you. I hope they went for it. I think it works all the way through. This from a woman who loves pro football and just designed a postcard for the pro women's football team in Houston, TX.
