Correct me if I am wrong...but I remember seeing that the Hitchcock likeness/image is trademarked by the family.

i like the birds and ornament. i could very easily see his face becoming a problem. i would play with putting the type in the circle or making the circle more of an arch over the type so that you could keep the birds. i think the name and birds alone indicates what its about. his face IMO isnt needed to achieve the effect and if it does cause legal problems thats a pretty easy solution.

I think the likeness rights of Hitchcock are in reference to silhouette logo used by him. See it here I may be wrong... I'm just not sure that you can copyright someones face. GREAT JOB! I really like your style.
