It's not the same concept, i have some circuits inside of a hart. By the way, "see my other post":http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/12359, i explained there about originality.

graft those are very similar concepts and i saw your other post and while those have merit, the point is that people are actively pointing out *very* valid statements of your work that firebran logo is _almost_ a pixel for pixel dup' of Raja's logo, and this *is* close enough to newsvine to raise some eyebrows. You are a very talented designer, why not simply push for a new look?

dont you think this at the moment seem more bio science which is more apt of green.... analysis rather than red which is more hospital .... treatment

this logo uses a green treatment with 'tech' circuits to form the viens of the heart. the news vine logo uses a green leaf with 'tech' circuits to form the 'veins' of the leaf... you mean to tell me you don't find that concept and carry through similar, the only difference is in the shape of the symbols. I never said he stole anything from anyone, but his last comment doesn't really help his cause , that and the 3 other logos in his showcase that have marked/striking resemblance to other logos right here on logopond. I was hoping simple talking to would maybe get him to see what we are saying, but maybe thats not enough...

no i hear what your saying totally but but next to each other unless im looking at a different logo http://www.getmonkey.co.uk/blog/images/newsvine_logo.jpg i see a concept but nothing to warrant enough of a public hanging hahaha ... kidding ... but its a pity, his comment kinda hung him... was just judging by the logo just 2 cents :) ...

hhmmm what are you saying climax... shall we take him out back? i did see the "similarities" in the other 2 logos but im kinda with kaimere on this one... dont think this says 'newsvine' to me.. not off the bat anyway... the other logo (similar to rajas) had comments of likeness from the very first... dache, a respected designer in his own right & on here adding the first words made no such comparisons. there has been a vibe of late on here guys where some designers are being forced onto their back legs... we need to take great care with what we say... or we find ourselves saying 'i never said/meant that...' tact people... tact:)

yeah similarities hmmmm hehehe but ... what to do ... point em out and hope he listens ... in the end he wont lose anything apart from reputation and the clients the cost of a new logo.

"in the end he wont lose anything apart from reputation and the clients the cost of a new logo." and thats why i don't delete peoples logos or ban users based on others saying that they have similarities in their work, I don't even delete my own comments, for i believe its the body of work for a person that gives them merit and reputation, if he doesn't care, then no longer do I in this instance, i just like to clear the air n a matter and move on. Nido, no, no reason to take him out back lol P.S. simply because ' a respected designer' doest see a connection doesn't negate the fact that other see it no?

lol ... not arguing ... see a concept but i think far away enough ... the newsvine logo is comparable to the early it logos which used nodes much the same way .. so hence seeing it a defunkt ...
