A logo is a sintesys of expression, of intentions, of thonghts. I believe your logo is that, and that is hard to achive that. But I think that the lettering as to much work, is a bit burlesque in oposition to the strong and bold gesture of the symbol.
But don't be mistaken. Great work, congratulations.

Great design - the fork and spoon images could be a little smoother (maybe this is just my screen) but it's still a great piece of work.
