This is very clever! I see the plane and what I think are the glass windows of a control tower. However, the f looks slightly too tall to me.

I like the look of this however, I do believe that when reduced some of your lines will be lost. Not liking the font either. But nice mark, with some refinement.

Yes, the crossbar on the f needs to be brought down to the same height as the top of the other letters and the overall height should be the same as the l. and if it were me I would tweak the y. Neat concept and the font is nice just needs some fine tuning.
