I would make the fox head flush with the rest of the circle...does that make sense? It shouldn't be sticking out because the light colored piece isn't sticking out even with the break. Sorry if that was confusing :P

I know what you're saying joe. The reason it's displayed like that is because frequently we see sections of a graph pulled out a little to make an point. Tried to do the same here.

Maybe I'll make that change compare.

I really like it!
I kind of agree with Joe, though. From my perspective, the head sticking out makes it look a little off center (to the left, it seems) in a way that just doesn't sit right.

I think what might help the fox head issue is if you make it extend a little bit farther out. I think the idea is good, but since it only is separated by a minute amount right now, the point gets a little lost and can be misinterpreted as a mistake.

I love this - it is so clever! I like the general design the way it is, with the fox head out a bit from the rest. The colors are also really nice. The only question I have is whether the color of the word "foxystats" is a different white from the color of the foxes tail/ears? It looks to me like they are different. That is something you might consider changing. Having all three of these elements the same color may make it feel more unified. On the other hand, having the word be white may be effective in making it stand out. Just something to think about. :) Great logo.

Did you slightly round all the corners of the mark since the original? I can't remember. If so, smart decision. Also, in reference to the comment above about the type color, I think you said it right. The white helps make the name stand out a little more. :-)
