spotted it straight away. nice job. I like the J, I also had done something similar with my Navan Physio hand as the Physio's name is Joanne (she didn't really care thought!), its a nice letterform to work with.**Are we going to see color and will you do a custom on the type? this would work lovely printed embossed! :)
ReplyOh they must like it, great monogram for life.
ReplyIt%60s creative and has a nice flow, but rotated heart always reminds me on something else.. :)
Reply@Paul, thanks bud. Still playing around with color and type but I'm open for suggestions.*@Jan, thank you sir. They do like it indeed.*@Srdjan, hah thanks for the visual :P
Replyreally think this guy done a smashing job on this...**http://www.impallari.com/lobster/**might be a bit heavy though.
ReplyBtw Srdjan, I did some rotations and transformations with the mark that will serve as decorative pieces on some of the printed items.
ReplyMight be a little heavy but I'll definitely look into it Paul, much appreciated :)
ReplyAight. Look forward to see some more. :)
Reply@mcdseven Ah, I can definitely find a use for that. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyThanks Srdjan.*@Kev, I'm sure that will come in handy for me sooner or later also :)*Thanks again Paul.
Replylike where this is going, Joe.*And thanks for showing that font suggestion, Paul. Liken that font. (not that it fits this, joe, just like the font.)
ReplyDon't forget to donate! :-D
ReplyThank you Mr. Bruner :)*@Kev, haha. You go first :p
Replyhey guys, Smashing (just incase you guys have not come across it) is simply 'smashing' for quality cut typefaces, and they are also free. Some beautiful ones imho**http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/11/15/20-new-high-quality-free-fonts/**cheers
ReplyReally Clever Joe. IMO I think the type is important here and needs to be a little bigger. More Jessica and Tony?
ReplyYou better knock that off Paul! Pretty soon you're gonna be giving your house away :P Only kidding, free resources are always appreciated.*@Mike, thanks for the input. This is a WIP and the type is just in place until I figure out a nice match. I'll make it bigger though in any case, cheers!
ReplyUPDATED, thanks Mike.
ReplyAdded color and changed the type...found a nice one from Hoefler %26 Frere Jones.
ReplyThanks baehrden, still playing with possible layouts. Cheers.
ReplyI love everything about it dude. You're bro must be very excited.
ReplyReally nice :)
ReplyMads and Muhammad, cheers fellas. Still making minor adjustments but he is very happy with it which is the most important part. Thanks.
ReplyThis is sweet mark Joe... One question tho... Why Jessica %26 Tony... why not Tony and Jessica? Are you the designer from the bride's side :D... JK.%0D*Coz usually the male name is followed... e.g Romeo %26 Juliet, Antonio %26 Cleopetra etc?
ReplyThanks Riz! I did some research and thought the woman's name goes first...apparently I need to check my sources :P**Thanks for the heads up mate.
ReplyI'd make it a tad smaller, but overall its very impressive. A nice gift to give to a sibling. Nice choice of type.
Replycool stuff
Reply@Anthony %26 Paul, you guys are right. I'll make the mark smaller.*@Peter, thank you.
ReplyUPDATED, thanks for the suggestions.
ReplyNice, Joe, love the heart shape!
ReplyHey Sean, how's it going my man? Been a while.
ReplyI've updated the mark and type. Made it look less like a butt or boobs and have the heart be more subtle. It also brings out the legibility for the J %26 T better. Cheers!
ReplyYeah, cool changes. I'm liking.
ReplyOh, that's nice!
ReplyMilosz and Nikita, cheers!
ReplyCheers Alena! My brother and his fiancee both love it and that is the most important part.
ReplyGreat stuff Joe! :)

ReplyWhat's not to get Matt? I mean, I think it's obvious that the mark is a side-view of a house...you know they're doing wonderful things in mental institutions these days :P
ReplyCan't keep me eyes off of this baby. Dead on, Joe.
ReplyAppreciate the nice comment, Mads.
Replythat's a cool date to get married :)

ReplyNice mark, but for me the background is very rude, however a good logo :)
ReplyGreat design...but is it just me or does the date seem like a R.I.P...well after 40 years of marriage...some pray for that!
