Any honest critiques? I'm trying to make something really simple, memorable and friendly that will work well when applied to tshirts, shorts and pretty much everything else. It's not getting much of a reaction :P (hand drawn type)

That shade of lime looks a kinda dirty/dull lime. I get what you're doing with the spokes, but the stroke thickness seems too heavy for a bicycle wheel. (it makes the mark look more like a camera shutter closing or a cowboy's boot-spur, to me) 'bicycles' is quite tightly kerned. What would the 'b' look like with a stem on the end to balance it?

I wholeheartedly agree with thisGuy.

to thisGuy: I would have to say what you wrote was perhaps one of the most comprehensive and insightful comments that I've ever read here on the pond. Marketing is a fascinating, visual field; putting all the elements together to make a comprehensive statement that is, ultimately, effective is the only goal worth pursuing in my opinion. Marketing and designing are not mutually exclusive; they are essential to each other's success. I wish more designers knew that. Good to see you have a good grasp of both.

Thanks guys, I'll look into your suggestions Plantingseeds, Cheers Justin, never a truer word said. I do realise that it's quite 'middle of the road' and doesn't really create a stir in a place like logopond, but that's okay. The design is just what I set out to create and just what the client is looking for and that's all that matters for me :) Still have to develop it more though :) Cheers!
