great one! congrats for the logo and for the cause.
ReplyThanks ideoma! More info about the mission here: http://www.szymonkowalczyk.com/aktualny-projekt*Although it's in Polish, you can watch a short clip made by Polish teenagers.
ReplyThe silhouette is beautiful.
Replyi can actualy c a triba face, wid nose and lips very prominent...was it intentional?
Reply%5Enow that you mention it so can i...
Replyconceptually and artistically the mark is so strong
ReplyThe mark is nice...especially after you notice the books. The type needs work though, in my opinion. Is it just me, or is the C too thick and doesn't seem to match the other letters?
ReplyMark is so conceptual.
ReplySo nice! Didnt see the books either at first. love it even more now.
ReplyDaaaaaaamn!!! So nice!!! Brilliant work!!!
Replyah man! so great!
Replybangin!
ReplyThis one is great! But at first sight I thought it was a zeebra like mark. Once you can see the books it makes more sense.
ReplyLovely Mark!
ReplyI LOOOOOOOOVE this logo. Edgy, modern and it's clear!
ReplyI'm glad you like it! As for the font, I agree it is the biggest disadvantage of this logo, however, the logo will also support other missions in other parts of Africa so I had to plan for it too. *All of the images were placed intentionally:*The Continent: this is the most clear and obvious element*Teenager face: Teenager is looking up, asking for help or praying (The mission is supported by the Catholic Church).*Books: They symbolize education and point to the targeted region.*Zebra stripes: The mission is also a great adventure for those who help and is very rewarding. *
Replythis is really a strong mark! am in love ! good luck!
ReplyI Like it Alot Great Work

Replygreat job!
Replynice job
ReplyAgreed with @saha - looks nearly identical, and that poster was designed in '07
ReplyYes, it's similar to the poster from 2007, however, I took the inspiration from a different source. Initially, I designed the continent with the elephant shape included in it. This concept obviously didn't match the idea of the mission, in which adventure aspect is the least important, so I redesigned the mark replacing the elephant with the human face. I've seen the poster before submitting the logo and I think the similarity is acceptable. What's your opinion?
ReplyDoes look similar. Great execution.
Replynice :)
ReplyThis is a fantastic piece no matter where the inspiration came from. With billions of people one person won't be the only to see a face in Africa's shape. The fact that you manage to work in FOUR different concepts into one logo is brilliant.**Amazing and creative work mate %3B )
ReplyIt's absolutely perfect. Like it very much! So sad your mission didn't work! :(
ReplyThanks again for your comments. I hope that next year the mission will succeed. If not I'm willing to adapt this logo for another charity organization.
Replyreally nice! good work
ReplyGreat ideas , love it! :)*
Reply2010 Poster for Fifa World Cup in South Africa looks awfully similar...
