This doesn't have an elegant feel IMO. The extended serifs make it seem more childish and less luxurious. I think the type should be simplified.

I disagree, I find it well balanced and fitting. Maybe slightly flip up ends of tree to compliment serifs? Nice Job Jerron.

had doubts after reading Joe's comment, he does have a point but after looking at it for a while i start to feel the elegance. colors help a lot. i'm not sure i get the icon, tho.. but this has a very unique feeling.

Wow! This is an early logo of mine that I came across and thought I would submit out of curiosity. Thanks I should have clarified that it is suppose to be a woodsy luxury not a snooty luxury.

Thanks for your comments Joe, critiques are nothing new to me, blunt or not. Just from input on the pond alone I have significantly improved many of my logos.
