There are about 3 or 4 on the pond that are very similar to this. One was featured as a new 2007 trend. So I agree with dotTOM.

It does seem to convey one of the current 'trends' - making it a reason to NOT make use of such a concept.

yeah a logo for something like this needs to be trendless, needs to be ageless. cause what Jeff is alluding to , is that once the trend ends, where does that leave the logo and subsequently the brand?
