This is a really sweet icon, and nice colors..
I feel like the type creates some awkward spaces though. Maybe track it out a tad? The "e" is also throwing me off.

Yes, I think these resemble (what I normally think) paddles look like. I used to canoe a bit back when I was a wee lad.
