Ravecorp Corporation (Concept I)
by rccgd
This construction company wanted to incorporate an image of the raven into their identity. Plus, after meeting the client, I learned that he is a "go-getter" and their identity should reflect that.

Thanks, but you know that it always ends with the same story -- the customer picks whichever they like. :D

But this IS one of my first picks!

It's funny, I read it as RaveN-Corp, not Rave-Corp in both instances... Funny what your mind can do.

I also like this one the best, but I would abandon the red part of the R in the text. I love it in the icon, but it doesn't translate well in the smaller text.

this might be cliche but i thinkn the big r should go on top, unless these are two different views

Thank you for all your comments. Really appreciate it!

Climax, yes they are two different views and not to be used together on a same piece.

i think it'd work as one piece too! who says things have to be conventional? (or cliched ;)

Too many fine details are lost when its size is reduced.

Great job. I do agree that some detail is lost at small size, but it's still a logo and logo mark.

I have a tough time believing the client will buy the illustrative looking R with the raven in it. but, I like the simplicity of the R red thing. I dunno Maybe to me I just dont see this working past conceptual stage because of its illustrative qualities and if you strip it of that you dont have enough communication in my point of view. But thats not a bad thing, most construction and realestate and all of that field really they have logos that are very very neutral with their communication.

Yep... really like it. The way the bird works inside the 'R' is great. Top job.

I actually thought it was RaveNCorp as well.

Love the R emblem! I agree that it would look cool on top?

Great job!

Graphically, I love this! However, I have to say that it implies their name is RavenCorp and thus dilutes their brand :( The Raven also has a fairly mixed symbolism in western culture.

Ultimately, I think it would be an awesome logo for an edgy company. Is it an edgy construction company?
