this is great. question: if its International Society... shouldn't the first C be an S? also, i get that it is a paw and a heart but the slash through the heart and the ruggedness of the type make me think its promoting animal violence. not trying to throw a wrench in your idea...just wanted you to know the initial things that immediately came to my mind.

Again i think this is an awesome logo. keep up the good work.

Lol had to google who Michael Vic was, did he kill a dog or something? Or did the dog kill him?

@struve - the slash through the heart symbolises a broken heart and also a stop sign. I actually put up the wrong name for this initially, I am also working on a logo for an International Society for.... organisation which has been giving me a right bloody headache. Luckily I was able to convince them that the acronymn was the right route.

Quite impressive i'd say. That broken hearth sends quite a lot of messages, and i think as someone noticed some may be a bit contradictory. But it's interesting and i think surrounded by messages and used in an appropriate context will give it's real measure and communicate what is supposed to.
