This is just my opinion but I think this would look better without the gradients. Unless you have already tried that and it doesn't. Anyway, nice work :)

Euan, actually I haven't tried it without the gradients. I've updated it here with your suggestion. Take a look if you have time and tell if it's better or not, cuz I'm not sure. Thanks!
