Nice, Honey Script?

ricebean said on Dec. 21 '09

Yep, but I made the "C" and "B", this one from another font. I made some changes on the Honey too.

I initially read it as "Cotton Zier". Sorry.

It's ok. Bier is how to spell beer in German

Se fosse um Z, a perna da letra estaria abaixo da linha base do "ier"

ricebean said on Dec. 22 '09

If it was a Z, the leg of the letter would be below the baseline of the "ier"

Art Machine said on Dec. 22 '09

You're right. But I think theartistt has a point since the effect comes from the "B" being connected to the "Cotton" and reaching into it's descender line, hence the "z". Maybe you could avoid this by tweaking the lower bowl of the "B", making it rounder...(I'm german and I also initially read "Zier")

Did not mean to be German is right, was just explaining why the spelling. I understand the point of view of both and would agree if they understood as "Cottonz Ier", but the line break between "Cotton" and "Bier" makes clear his name.

It is good to always discuss the points that we, the creators do not see immediately, so we improved our work always.
