This has just the perfect mix of gradient use, illustration, proportion, and type. THIS is a fabulous example of a proper logo, is really is. Too many people over-use gradients, glossy effects, and the like...for no good reason. This design has a purpose, a reason for using the effects it did. Can't say enough good things about it! Gallery-worthy.

^ very disappointing. Sometimes I wonder about taste sometimes and if people really know what works, and what is good. Just because a logo is "clever" and simple does not always mean it's right for the market. This is a classic case of a design executed to perfection for the intended use... Simple and one color is not always the best solution.

Logomotive you '^' at something being disappointing, but i don't see the comment you are referencing. And if its a referenec at it not going into the gallery immediately upon upload, I missed it until now plain and simple, beyond that you of all people should know I put all kinds of logos of this type in the gallery when they work, just look at your own showcase :D

while i agree the craft here is exceptional... I cant help but feeling that the feline in the circle is lost due to it being so small... that cat alone would make a great mark.. it has a very nice flow...

^ I agree but that could be used in part of the branding and it gives the logo more depth perception by having it smaller.
@ CD I was only trying to show respect for a such a wonderful design, and maybe my personal feelings about design came across indifferent.
