I would be interested to see this logo the other way around. The mark at the top and the name at the bottom.

Also i feel the technical side of this logo has been overlooked in favour of more asthetically pleasing logos, hence the low rating.

I give this logo a solid 4stars

I agree with your point on 'eye-candy' getting all the votes. Versatility does not seem to be in favour around here.

Take a look at the front page anytime, and tell me how many of those logos can be emroidered on a shirt in one colour ;)

the only thing that bothers me about this is the 3d rendering of the dot on the 'i'... in particular the bottom part of the side.. doesn't match with the rest.

Would be cool to see the front of the doors in a separate colour to the white background and blue. This would create a lowercase I for the indigo part :D
