Personally not a big fan of the plumes/coffee cup icons for cafes but this combines well with the 'mafioso' style hat. Good to see that you haven't used any green red and white.

the client specifically wants to have a 'mafioso' theme in the logo, as the theme becomes the main concept of the whole cafe and applied on its interior as well.

I've tried not to use green, red and white, and using blue instead. i hope the color doesn't make it look too 'greek'... :)

I'd like it better if you used flat colors for the coffee itself, and if the steam was solid white. Right now the coffee element in general looks to weak compared to the bolder, stronger rest.
