I think it's not bad, but after spending some time on it, here are my remarks: the mark doesn't stand by itself, it's not suggestive, if it wasn't for the type i wouldn't know what this is about. You can't see the pencil in A, at least not any different from any regular A, so there's nothing unique in here. Even with the type, the mark reads VA to me. So.. sorry, i think this could be better, idea is nice though.

Nice solution. For now I read the mark as 'reviews art' as opposed to 'art reviews'. I would recommend changing the position of the pencil so that it is before the approval symbol so that its name reads exactly like its mark.
