I dont' think the lower-left strokes contribute anything. It's actually a distraction. The thin strokes and type are elegant, but the style is sorta cliché...

You're right but the left strokes are only for the "show" in logopond and are not part of logo. The lower strokes are only an add for the stationary.

Yep, the style is classic but the client was classy. Please, see the old logo and the change of feeling with the new one. In http://anniechristian.blogspot.com/2007_03_02_archive.html
there is the letterhead and the old logo of Decor.

yeah i understood that the decorations on the bottom left were clearly for show and stationary. Id say the logo shows its classy and sharp style. Pretty good... however i still think its lacking something... not too sure tho... maybe its good :P

It might be interesting to drop the "o" and replace it with the swooshed "o".
