is the company name omega or omegacom? if it is supposed to be omega.com, then try putting the graphic in between the text. i personally like this even though there are a lot of elements that have been used many times before. try putting com in that dark orange too... that may make it more visible and draw the eye out some.

The legal name of this company is omegacom. First thing you have to know is I work in France and some words could represent other concepts in french... This company will print and so provide advertising objects, merchandising and branded stuff. In France, we call it "publicité par l'objet", directly translated it could be "advertising by the object". The first idea was to combinate, as you find out, name and web address... But omega.com and .fr are already taken. An idea just came to us. In french, com means also "communication" (we say, "I work "in the com'" that means "I work in a communication and advertising department) which is not so far from "advertising". So we changed for omegacom (which sounds better than "omegapub", with "pub" for "publicité") and available (yes!) omegacom.fr for the web address. So the legal name is omegacom, but the real name is omega, that's why I decided to put in relief "omega". But I will try to make "com" more visible. Your idea to put it in dark orange could be great! Thank you very much :-)

ah that makes more sense. some of my family is from france. so i speak a little french. i wouldnt have gathered that the logo was for a french company though... possibly because of the greek symbol/name. well the idea is even more convincing now.

c'est magnifique!

Thanx! You know it's very difficult to set his own vision of the design in France... It's so hard to convince clients to have "non french" communication. They don't want to be recognized... In France, we have a proverb... "No change in a winning team"...
