This is a redesign of a logo for an organization that has two facets: worship and compassion. The icon is meant to symbolize both through a person with their hands raised and a hand giving food to someone.

I can't claim credit for the orginal concept, which can be seen here until the site is updated.

so is that the finished product? looks much better than the original. you can see the person and the hand very well. i did like that other font though.

Very nice. Very well balanced between the hand and person. I thought though before I read your description that the person was a girl coming downward after jumping up, or on a roller coaster with her hair blowing back...enjoying life, right?
