Works really well.

sisudesigns said on Feb. 26 '07

I really would have liked to seen that A lower case in there with a blue treatment but I get why you did it.. Periodic table of elements style.... I guess if I was going to do that I'd take it the next step though. Personally I'd rather you just play with the typography. I really love the placement of that blue dot. I just wish it was incorporated into the type somehow.

senterbrands said on Feb. 26 '07

what if you did the dot in the i blue? Other than that i realy like this design.

breakthrudesigns said on Feb. 26 '07

Very cool

OcularInk said on Feb. 26 '07

I too would like to see the blue color working with the type. Even so, nice job.

Web Design Wales said on Feb. 28 '07

Beautiful work!

graft said on Mar. 01 '07

Nice job, i love the concept.

chrisrushing said on Mar. 02 '07

very cool, but how is it going to work on a business card at 1/2 or 1/4 of an inch tall.

pritchett.nick said on Mar. 07 '07

i think it would look fine. now-a-days, i think, if your printer can't get that detail onto your card then i'd say they aren't a very good printer. i mean...think of size 12 font and how detailed that actually is.

p.s.
i like this by the way

marc said on Mar. 11 '07

I like just as it is. If I was being pernickety though, I'd say how about using some smaller dots in the bottom right-hand corner, to define the intersection of the curve and the descender in the 'a'.

nikpawlak said on Mar. 11 '07

This is great for a Production company. could look really great animated.

jlc767 said on Mar. 12 '07

Without nitpicking, I would say that it's a success overall.

b3nder said on Mar. 15 '07

Nice work. I wish i had designed it myself. I probably would have integrated the blue colour into the typeface to link the mark and the name.

Art Machine said on Mar. 25 '07

I love it and I think it's great as it is, an alternative type would be interesting but not necessary as the mark itself is very strong and speaks for itself.

jasonblack said on Mar. 28 '07

Very clever design. Nice!

DOPE

logopwn said on Jun. 07 '07

Overall I don't have much concern about any part of it. I could live with the capital letters, but, like someone mentioned earlier, it would make more sense to strengthen the connection between the name and the 'a' above by making the dot on the letter 'i' blue. Good work!

leo said on Jul. 04 '07

great idea

uvendire said on Jul. 08 '07

What is the rationale?
"a" is the symbol of *anti*particle as being it's logo. Which is formed by "normal" particles except that blue one - so it becomes normal. Being "anti" should be the key.
or.. maybe all the black dots are antiparticles (as the type being in black too) but then what does that blue dot reflect? Decorative?

ewcost said on Jul. 21 '07

Wow, that is really nice! Thanks for sharing

qmanning said on Aug. 22 '07

Nice. I agree with some of the comments above that it'd be nice to see the lowercase 'a' in the type treatment rather than the uppercase, and I think with that blue dot just floating in the form above, you need to bring that color into the type treatment somehow.

It is a beautiful logo! congrats!

danielaguilar said on Oct. 25 '07

this logo remind two logos from my showcase... dconc and cemtex... from year 2006

admarcbart said on Oct. 25 '07

Either way it goes.

What came first the chicken or the egg?

The Antiparticle is still a much better execution and purpose for the mark.

The others are lacking reasoning for the deisgn.

grafismo said on Oct. 29 '07

Pretty good!

emesghali said on Nov. 01 '07

i like it a lot, i think it would be cool if the anti was blue like the blue dot in the a. kind of like a link between the two.

regardless, excellent.

helsic said on Nov. 15 '07

so beatifull, cleand and clever *0*

cray-z said on Nov. 27 '07

I don't think the t and the i in "anti" sit right. i think the "anti partial" that is the blue circle is just the same as all the other but with a different pair of shoes. probably not like your bother now anyway in hearing crit. but i think you could rework it to make it better than just good.

komrath said on Nov. 28 '07

Cool, I really like the way it scales :)

abeall said on Dec. 02 '07

Just another comment, I really like how you varied the sizes of the particles in just a subtle way to add depth, not just random variations.

firestorm888 said on Dec. 04 '07

Sorry Stereodeluxe - not judgemental here at all - but this and clashmore's Take Zero are both derivative of the Unilever logo - "Unilever logo explainer page is here, btw":http://www.unilever.co.uk/ourcompany/aboutunilever/introducing_unilever/ourlogo/

Whether you did it intentionally or whether it was in your subconcious - it's a match. Just sayin'! Your blue particle is a nice touch, tho.

Frankly, I'm suprised that no one has brough this up, before.

james said on Dec. 05 '07

I agree I've seen this style done multiple times before...not just the unilever logo. I wouldn't say that they are a match though as the end result is completely different...even if based on the same concept intentional or not, inspiration form other logos/design is no bad thing.

Nice work btw.

Web Designing Buddy said on Jan. 16 '08

cool concept and nicely drawn.. A very good source of inspiration..

dariux said on Jan. 18 '08

Is a cool concept, the art and colors is a excellent logo. And very different to others!

MondoMan said on Feb. 07 '08

I really like where this is headed. If I had one critic it would be that this logo my not be as effective at a small size. I might try to reduce the number of "particles" to simplify things a bit. It would still have the effect and would help on the overall application of the logo at different sizes.

Web Designer Portfolio said on Feb. 09 '08

Very nice indeed. But reminds me of the Unilever logo...

backstudio said on Feb. 23 '08

excellent

mellr said on Feb. 23 '08

good!

gthobbs said on Feb. 23 '08

I know this is a little out of date in response but it echos comments I see on a lot of logos. Here, particularly, feeling that blue must be brought into the type is a very amateur reaction. Let a single focal point work for you. Sometimes 2 scoops of raisins is one too many.

LOGOMOTIVE said on Feb. 23 '08

I like 2 scoops :-)

mattjones5389 said on May. 22 '08

gasolinebomb said on Oct. 15 '08

Hey there,
Blasting logo. I liked the blue dot - that means kind of "Anti" because all dots are black.
stereodeluxe I wanted to ask you if you can make a logo for my website: www.widep.com - it's rapidshare download - rapidshare quality
my email: gasolinebomb@hotmail.com
Thank you,
Michael

firebrand said on Dec. 18 '08

I'm not taking anything away from this logo, but since it was posted a great many 'better' logos have followed. I suppose it maintains its position at the top because of its visibility in the 'Most Floated' list. Plus, it's the top logo so people feel compelled to vote it up.... Just a thought.

Type08 said on Dec. 18 '08

I agree with Roy! Michael Jordan has retired to, right?

gr8pixel said on Dec. 18 '08

awesome... I love it!

stereodeluxe said on Dec. 23 '08

well then so may it be. still im quite happy with the reactions that i have received since then. and i really dont feel competent enough to tell why and how people make up their decisions.

but as i said. since i dont call myself a logo-designer, im very happy to get positive response from this community.

all the best, dian

Takes you with your mind to Unilever logo. I love the depth effect.

satansgoalie said on Jan. 20 '09

this is really cool but i can't imagine it being used for practical applications like pens or other promotional items. is there an alternate version of this set a small scale?

lundeja said on Jan. 20 '09

If you're doubting the scalability of this, take a good look at the unilever logo. I was actually thinking today that this logo probably looks better smaller because I really dislike the way it looks big.

prasademc said on Mar. 11 '09

Really nice awesome

Lefty said on Apr. 06 '09

gorgeous

clevercarrot said on Apr. 22 '09

The logo works at about 50 pixels. Put on a pen, it looks like a grainy a. It's not so bad, but not great.

Almost just like this one http://www.arkitekt.is/Enska/projects/logo_concept.html . I think I like yours better though.

plantingseeds said on Mar. 26 '10

^^Interesting. Which designer did the original idea? shouldn't the architects be told their logo clashes with another company's?

^you sure do like blankets!

Hayes Image said on Mar. 26 '10

Since this design was uploaded in Feb '07 & on the architect's site they say they developed their new brand in 2008...seems pretty clear to me...

Blankets; if you're thinking about spamming, you'll be removed.

To be honest, I've never liked this design...does that make me counter-cultural?

plantingseeds said on Mar. 27 '10

@StereoDeluxe: Is your logo now in use by the Film Production company? Even if it isn't, I think the architects should be told they're unknowingly praising their in-house graphic designer for basically ripping you off.

junosama123 said on Apr. 10 '10

sabian1982 said on Oct. 11 '10

I've gotta be honest, i don't like the design - i think if the dots were more even this might help and the random blue dot is out of place (unless you know its meaning). I'm sure I've seen a design like this before some where but can't seem to place it!
