I like it... but the version on black doesn't have to much contrast. Maybe you can try to find a better balance between logo and backround.

I agree with the contrast comment. But this is a great mark. Easy read and would work well in a variety of applications (web, print, etc.)

Nice idea. I'll go ahead and put my two cents in with the people above me- there's really no reason for it to be so dark. Really feeling the icon though.
