At this point with this logomark, you've gone so far in the 'symmetrical' direction, putting a more organic feel into it would potentially backfire; it would be contradictory.

In my opinion, I'd say....just add an identical/mirror-image line on the other side to match it. I considered what the shape would be like without it, and I have to say...the 'tapered' quality that one little line adds is a beautiful one. This is great work, and I think it actually works quite well as-is.
