A few issues that I can see are: 1.) People just aren't really shooting with film anymore - so it's somewhat of an archaic icon. 2.) Something about the overall perspective of the C just feels off. 3.) The white edge on the upper part of the C is making the film strip look too thick.

Couple of comments...I disagree about the film critique; I think a lot of photographers still use real film and I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. I think the color palette here is very appealing, but I do agree that the film mark needs some tweaking/reworking. The general feel is beautiful, just need to be perfected a bit more.

Some fine art photogs use film as part of their craft but commercial is all digital. But rarely 35mm. So I have to agree the mark is out of date.
